The preferred materials for chemical-resistant gaskets are PTFE, Neoprene, Buna-N, Silicone, and Viton. They offer the best resistance for aggressive substances like solvents, acids, bases, fuels, and more. However each has its own specialization, so the application and environment need to be taken into consideration before choosing the material.
